Officials said one person was taken to the hospital after being hit with flying debris, but looks to be fine.

The CHP said the crash was weather related and the truck was going too fast coming down the hill.

"Based off his statement, as well as witness statements, it appears that this vehicle just lost control. This is an area as we see with wet weather and especially on hills -- you get a lot of water on these hills. So this is an area where you really have to pay attention to your driving, pay attention to water standing on the roadway and just play it safe," said CHP Ofc. Andrew Barclay.

The cleanup effort lasted several hours and lanes were reopened around 11 a.m.
