$5,000 donation to help fund San Jose student's reading program

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- ABC7's Matt Keller read to 3rd graders from San Jose's Santee Elementary School after presenting Shop with a Cop Foundation of Silicon Valley with $5,000 to help fund a Summer reading program.

Keller was joined by the Earthquakes mascot Q, along with San Jose police officers and deputies from the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department.

There was also book giveaway.

The Shop With a Cop Foundation is launching a reading program at the school to inspire students to read more.
