The family of a missing San Francisco teacher is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his return.

UPDATE: Body of San Francisco missing teacher believed to be found


Ed Cavanaugh was last seen July 17 riding a motorcycle with a friend in the El Dorado National Forest.

This photo of popular San Francisco teacher Ed Cavanaugh, 46, was taken the day he went missing, on July 17, 2015.


Cavanaugh's family says he's a "survivalist" but they're worried because he has diabetes and needs medication.

Cavanaugh teaches at Downtown High School, a continuation school in San Francisco.
