Napa officials to launch assistance center for quake victims

NAPA, Calif. (KGO) -- Victims of Napa's earthquake that shook the area two weeks ago today will soon have a new resource to help rebuild.

On Monday, the City and County of Napa will open a Local Assistance Center, NapaLAC, at 301 First Street. That's at the corner of Silverado Trail and First Street.

The center will provide people and businesses with information about building permits and financial assistance, food assistance, family resources, mental health, and other community resource programs.

Doors open at 1 p.m..

Napa has also launched a website to assist in recovery efforts.
