FRESNO, Calif. -- Authorities say four of the five inmates who escaped from the Madera County Jail have been captured.
Roel Soliz, 29, remains on the loose, according to Madera County Sheriff's spokeswoman Erica Stuart.
The breach happened Friday night with authorities reporting one man had escaped. But on Saturday morning, they said the five men broke out of the Madera County Department of Corrections.
"This was not a violent escape; this was a breach," said Stuart. "What they did once they got out, whether they stuck together or split apart I have no way of knowing, how they made the escape, how they broke out is under investigation."
Anyone with information on this incident or the whereabouts of Roel Soliz is urged to call the Madera County Sheriff's Office at (559) 675-7770.
