BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Famed Berkeley restaurant Chez Panisse was targeted by animal rights activists who disrupted dinner last week.
Video inside Chez Panisse in Berkeley's gourmet ghetto shows protesters rallying inside the restaurant at 11 Friday night. Berkeley-Side reports between 10 and 15 protesters showed up to the restaurant, belonging to renowned chef Alice Waters.
A man appeared to be holding the protestors until police showed up, when police arrived they detained five people but made no arrests. The restaurant has not yet commented.
