Police responded at about 1:20 a.m. to the 5500 block of Beaudry Street on reports of gunshots. Arriving officers discovered the male victim dead in his apartment, police said.
The victim died from an apparent gunshot wound, according to police. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.
