Husband and wife Kip and Nicole Macy of Palo Alto are accused of several felonies including stalking, residential burglary, conspiracy and other crimes, all of which allegedly occurred at a Clementina Street apartment building. Friday's arraignment was postponed a week, but the judge did sign a protection order.
"That is the defendant must stay 150 yards away from the building and they must also stay 150 yards away from the tenants and the witnesses in this case," said Max Peltz, assistant district attorney.
Police say the Macy's cut support beams, poured ammonia on clothing, and drilled holes in floors to try and get tenants out. The Macy's are being held on $360,000 dollars bail. Their attorney was not immediately available for comment.
