Officers were called around 12:10 a.m. to Albany Bowl at 540 San Pablo Ave. on reports of a shooting, police Lt. Daniel Adams said. Additional police agencies and the California Highway Patrol aided in the response, Adams said.
The victim was found suffering a gunshot wound to the upper leg. The man, apparently shot while bowling, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of the gunshot wound and a broken leg.
Investigators this morning interviewed witnesses and worked to identify a suspect in the shooting, Adams said.
