Starting in August, Delta will add a surcharge to its Sky Miles tickets, their frequent flier program. The charge will be $25 for domestic flights and $50 on overseas routes.
Delta called it a "difficult but essential" decision, and said if fuel prices ever come down, they'll re-evaluate.
