The city took the wraps off new fire trucks Monday, the 17-year anniversary of the devestating Oakland Hills fire.
The trucks are specially designed to maneuver more easily in hills covered with trees and thick brush.
Fire fighters struggled during the 1991 firestorm to get around narrow streets and tight turns. That fire killed 25 people and destroyed 2,800 homes.
