The fire at 923 Ironside Drive was reported at 5:15 a.m. and was contained by 6 a.m. Firefighters were still at the scene around 8 a.m., the dispatcher said.
One resident was taken to a hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, the dispatcher said.
The blaze destroyed two apartments in the complex, said Capt. Robert Culbertson.
Five adults who have been displaced are being assisted by the American Red Cross, the dispatcher said.
