Mary-Ann Ortiz-Luis, M.D., has served as President of Clarmil Manufacturing Corporation since 2003. Based in Hayward, California, Clarmil is the Filipino-owned production arm of Goldilocks USA. The company produces Filipino products for Goldilocks' 18 stores in California and three in Nevada, as well as bakeries, supermarket chains, warehouse clubs, and specialty restaurants. Clarmil has two main production departments: bakery and food processing.
Ortiz-Luis oversees Clarmil's day-to-day operations as well as long-term goals, which includes a commitment to serving the community. She also manages the trademark issues of the Goldilocks brand in the United States. Prior to joining Clarmil in 1998, Ortiz-Luis served as a pediatric physician at the Hospital for Sick Children, St. Joseph's Health Centre (Ontario), The Queensway Hospital (Ontario). She is a member of the Stanford Business School Alumni Association, Canadian Pediatric Society, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and American Academy of Pediatrics.
