The California Supreme Court let the Starbucks policy stand. The coffee giant can require workers to share their tips with their bosses.
Previously, Starbucks had been ordered to repay the baristas $86 million in tip money, but an appeals court said the bosses are entitled to some of the tips because they're out there on the front lines brewing up lattes too.
The tip-sharing will apply to stores all across California.
