At around 2:10 a.m., units responded to reports that a gray four-door Toyota Camry rolled over several times and crashed off of eastbound Highway 580 near 98th Street, CHP Officer Ralph Caggiano said.
Two people were reportedly trapped in the Camry, which CHP investigators believe was a stolen vehicle, Caggiano said.
The occupants suffered cuts, bruises and had some teeth knocked out, according to the CHP.
The driver of the stolen car was taken to Highland Medical Center and determined to be under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was arrested for DUI.
The incident remains under investigation.
