Food drive information:
-You can donate food or cash at your local Safeway store.
-Please avoid fresh or frozen food and no glass jars. Drop off only non-perishable items; like soups, canned tuna, peanut butter, cereals, pasta, juice, etc.
-If you'd like to donate cash, you can do it right at the cash register at your local Safeway store. To find a location near you, visit www.safeway.com
-You can also donate directly to your local food bank. Cash donations of $250 and greater will be announced by Spencer Christian on ABC7's 6 pm newscast.
