The fire was reported in the 200 block of Farm Hill Court at around 1:30 a.m., the dispatcher said.
Preliminary reports indicate that the two-alarm fire ignited between two homes and then spread, damaging both.
There were no reports of injuries to residents, dispatch said, though one firefighter suffered a minor knee injury and has already returned to work.
The fire, which was declared contained at around 2:05 a.m., remains under investigation.
