The Marine Mammal Center rescued a female Olive Ridley turtle last week.
She was covered with barnacles, ghost shrimp and even crabs.
Donatello weighed just 54 pounds and was suffering from dehydration and malnutrition.
She is now recuperating at SeaWorld San Diego.
Olive Ridleys are rarely seen north of Mexico.
