Eva Gottstein of Menlo Park saw ABC7's report last Friday about a shortage of toy donations this year and was inspired to donate some 800 stuffed animals to the Toys For Tots program.
Members of the Menlo Park Fire Department picked them up on Wednesday in their vintage fire truck.
"These are the perfect stocking stuffers. They come in two different sizes, so they fit into any stocking size and they're good for kids of all ages," said Gottstein.
Gottstein represents a high-end soft toy manufacturer from Germany, called Sigikid. She says she's happy the toys will be given to children in need on the peninsula.
