Over the past week, more than 500 boys' high school teams from across the country competed in a tournament at the Disney Wide World of Sports in Florida.
Tuesday, only 18 players were chosen to make the all-star team that will head to England next summer.
Andrew Glaeser, a goalie from Mountain View, was one player chosen and Jonathan Salceda, out of Santa Clara, also was selected, but he almost didn't even make the trip to Florida.
"Our family, we come from a family that my mom doesn't really make that much money, so we struggle a lot, and like this tournament, another player's dad had to pay for my ticket because I couldn't afford it," said Salceda.
But now Jonathan, along with the entire team will go to England all expenses paid.
