Police went to the school at 1975 Blossom Ave. around 1:25 a.m. when an alarm sounded, Sgt. Randall Boggs said. They interrupted the burglary and chased one suspect into a nearby open field, where he was arrested.
A California Highway Patrol helicopter and a police dog searched for the second suspect, who was also arrested in the field, Boggs said.
Officers found several classrooms had been broken into and computer equipment, digital projectors and portable radios were found in the field and were returned to the school, Boggs said.
Sir Robert Ellenberg, 30, and Jason Martinez, 22, both of Fairfield, were booked into the Solano County jail for burglary, possession of burglary tools, and conspiracy. Ellenberg also was booked for a parole violation, Boggs said.
Martinez was treated at the NorthBay Medical Center for injuries he received from the police dog, Boggs said.
Sgt. Joel Orr said police have had prior contact with Ellenberg.
