Keep the waves big, loose and tousled
Product: Frizz-Ease Take Charge Curl Boosting Mousse
Tool: 1-inch barrel curling iron
Side braid
The braid should be a bit messy -- not too done! With pieces out in the front
Product: Luxurious Volume All-Out Hold Hairspray (to ensure braid stays perfectly in place all day…very important when wearing the braid)
Tool: Elastic band (to hold the braid at the end tight and secure)

Rounding out his resume is his third professional pursuit in addition to styling and coloring: his decade-plus run as casting director for Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton.
