More than 28,000 people have submitted rebate applications for buying new appliances, under a program administered by the California Energy Commission.
But there's still $28 million left.
The program that was supposed to end next week, has been extended until the money runs out.
The idea is to save power by encouraging people to buy new, more energy efficient appliances.
