FDA considering 'Viagra for women' pill

WASHINGTON

The Food and Drug Administration is considering endorsing a drug being called a "Viagra for women."

Next month, an FDA committee will consider the request of a German pharmaceutical to sell a drug which has shown to affect a woman's brain chemicals and spark greater sexual desire.

Some scientists caution that making a drug that works for women is harder because a woman's sexuality is more complicated than a man's.
