Residents can bring firearms to the East Palo Alto Government Center at 2415 University Ave. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Police will provide a $100 cash card for each firearm for the first 100 firearms.
No questions will be asked, and no identification is required.
The purpose of the program is to remove unwanted and unsafe firearms from the community.
