Police say someone opened fire on the girl just before 3 p.m. on Diamond Heights Boulevard near Gold Mine Drive. The woman suffered at least four gunshot wounds.
Officers spent several hours looking for evidence.
Investigators have not released any description of any suspects and no arrests have been made.
