It was a who's who of the gospel world gathered at the Paramount Theater to pay final respects to Grammy Award winner Bishop Walter Hawkins.
The Oakland native passed away last week at age 61, after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer.
The major gospel artists paying tribute at the night's free concert included Mary Mary, Bebe Winans, and Donnie McClurkin.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson was among those in the audience.
Funeral services for Hawkins are set to take place on Wednesday morning.
