Bad weather the past three years lead to a canned pumpkin shortage and 95 percent of the pumpkins used in canned goods are produced in Morton, Illinois.
The situation got so bad in previous years that canned pumpkins are now selling on eBay at inflated prices. But there's no need to panic because there will be no pumpkin shortage this year.
