The Department of Transportation says 85 percent of flights by major airlines arrived on time in September. That's down from 86 percent last year.
Still, San Francisco International Airport would love that number. SFO had the worst on time arrival rate at 76 percent.
Part of the reason may be an increase in the number of flights. Domestic air travel was up 3 percent in September.
