Nektar Therapeutics is relocating from San Carlos, bringing 150 jobs to a new 100,000 square-foot headquarters in Mission Bay.
San Francisco is also creating a new program called BioSF to stimulate expansion in biotech and life-science start ups. There are now 73 such firms located in the city.
