"Jessica" -- a student volunteering in a 3rd grade class -- said she had to use the name "spring spheres" for Easter eggs.
Jessica wanted to fill plastic eggs with treats for the kids. The teacher approved -- with the one caveat.
Jessica explained it to a local radio station.
"She said that I could do it as long as I called the treat 'spring spheres.' I couldn't call them Easter eggs," said Jessica.
The Seattle school district is not commenting, though the city parks department has banned the label "Easter egg."
