The drug store giant is joining the fresh foods trend and is now starting to sell salads, wraps, fresh fruits, vegetables and even sushi in its stores. For now, these offerings are only available at 30 Walgreens in the Bay Area and are part of a pilot program that rolls out this summer.
Last year, Walgreens began selling specialty food in Chicago neighborhoods with few grocery stores.
