Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Nerdy Avenue at around 2:40 a.m. and found a man believed to be in his 20s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspects have been identified and it is not known if the incident was gang-related, according to police.
This is the city's 24th homicide of the year.
