Kayla Marie Harris, 19, was accused by her two roommates on Tuesday of entering their rooms without their permission and stealing several items of jewelry worth more than $700, police said.
Harris denied any wrongdoing, but would not let officers search her room.
After obtaining a search warrant, officers found some of the stolen items in Harris' room, as well as narcotics. She was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
