Officers approached two people near the intersection of 38th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard around 11:45 p.m. and the pair started to run away, Officer Kevin McDonald said.
One suspect brandished a firearm, prompting a police officer to shoot, but no one was hit by the gunfire, McDonald said. Police took one suspect into custody, and the other suspect remained at large this morning.
