The demonstrators remain defiant, and at one 'occupy' location, there was even an unusual celebration on Friday.
A wedding took place around 3 p.m. Friday on the steps of City Hall near where the demonstrators were camping out.
Matt and Leona Chavez, related to Cesar Chavez, said they had no qualms about getting married with the 'occupy' protest as the backdrop.
"I think it's a really nice touch," Matt Chavez said. "It's a nice backdrop and it kind of goes well with my family values and my personal values to organize and to resist when faced with oppression."
The 'occupy' tents have been in the plaza for the past 11 days. The city ordered the occupiers to observe health and safety regulations.
The notice issued by the city on Friday offers no timetable for the protesters to leave except to say the city codes prohibit camping between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
No action was taken against the demonstrators Thursday evening.
