The collision, reported just after 6 a.m., blocked two lanes on westbound Interstate Highway 80 on the Bay Bridge's eastern span.
A 28-year-old Vallejo man driving a Chevrolet Avalanche was transported to Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center, but Tam did not know his condition.
A Nissan Versa and a Ford pickup truck were also involved in the accident, Tam said. No other injuries were reported.
