Lamb used in high school prank now with animal rescue group

BRENTWOOD, Calif.

Students chained the 6-month-old lamb to a pole at Heritage High School as part of an end-of-the-year prank that also involved spray painting the school.

School administrators suspended more than 50 students, preventing some from taking their finals or taking part in the graduation ceremony.

Four students bought the lamb for $100 from a local rancher

The East Bay Animal Rescue and Refuge hopes to find that lamb a new home.
