Manuel Ortega, 22, will now serve 32 years in prison. He was the first of six defendants to stand trial in the 2009 rape.
In October of that year, a girl leaving a homecoming dance was raped and beaten for two hours with no one coming to her aid. Ortega was seen running from the area.
Of the remaining five defendants, four face life in prison.
