The suit is giving hope to those confined to a wheelchair by paralysis. "I just started using this pro step function yesterday so this is pretty awesome in my mind," said spinal cord injury patient Aaron Bloom.
The Ekso suit was designed to help soldiers carry heavy loads. Right now it's only available at rehab centers. The short-term goal is to get them ready for patient use at home.
