The California Innocence Project started its walk in San Diego 48 days ago and will finish at the State Capitol. They've gone 600 miles already.
Tuesday the three demonstrators stopped at San Quentin State Prison. They met with one of 12 California prisoners who they say are wrongfully incarcerated.
They say it's difficult to reverse a conviction so they're calling on the Governor Jerry Brown to set the prisoners free.
"We've investigated these cases thoroughly. We've litigated these cases in court. In a few of these cases our clients have been declared innocent by judges and yet they still sit in prison," said project member Justin Brooks.
