The attempted burglary was reported around 3:30 on San Bruno Avenue near Silver Avenue. Investigators believed he escaped onto the rooftops of buildings in the area. They used a fire department ladder truck to help in the search.
The suspect was arrested after he fell through a roof and into in apartment around 5 a.m.
