On Wednesday, the former Beatles drummer announced that he wanted to find out who the kids were in the photo he took during the band's first visit to the U.S. He thought it was a great shot.
Turns out the picture was of five classmates from New Jersey who cut school to see the Beatles arrival at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.
The guy in the back seat leaning out of the window on the far right is Charles Schwartz of Sonoma.
The picture is one of 240 photos taken by Starr that appear in his book "Photograph." It was released earlier this year as an e-book and will be out in print on Nov. 22.
It shares the title of the 1973 number one hit Starr co-wrote with George Harrison.
