Officers responded to a call from a resident reporting a car theft in progress around 5:35 a.m. in the 6300 block of Market Street, police said.
When officers arrived, the resident directed them to the suspect. Officers quickly arrested him in connection with the crime, police said.
The stolen car was recovered.
