Officers responded to a report of a collision in the area of Almaden Expressway and Coleman Avenue at about 12:05 a.m., Sgt. Heather Randol said.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to Randol.
Randol said the driver of a second vehicle was also transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries suffered in the collision.
Randol said alcohol is suspected in the crash, which remains under investigation. Further details were not immediately available.
