Suspects attempt to steal ATM at CVS Pharmacy in Antioch

ANTIOCH, Calif. (KGO) -- Antioch police want to find the driver who used a U-Haul truck as a battering ram to break into a drug store this morning.

It appears the driver and at least one other person tried to steal an ATM from the CVS store on Somersville Road.

Police chased the U-Haul truck through Antioch and neighboring Pittsburg. Officers captured a man who jumped from the truck after the chase entered Concord.

That man needed treatment at a hospital. The driver kept going in the truck.
