Santa Clara University student accused of trying to kill roommate

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- A Santa Clara University student faces attempted murder charges for stabbing his roommate in their apartment on campus.

Dillon Kim was booked into Santa Clara County jail.

He was also injured on his neck. Police say Kim's injuries were self-inflicted.

The roommate was cut several times, but his wounds are not life threatening.

Kim will be in court on Thursday.
