Lottery fever has hit the Bay Area. People are lining up to buy a ticket for a chance at the Mega Millions jackpot.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Lottery fever has hit the Bay Area. People are lining up to buy a ticket for a chance at the Mega Millions jackpot.

The jackpot right now is $667-million-- a new record.

If you don't win in the Mega Millions drawing there's Wednesday's Powerball drawing that is now worth $345-million.
