SILICON VALLEY, Calif. (KGO) -- Fans of Betty White can honor her legacy and her love of animals by bringing home a loving pet.
The Humane Society of Silicon Valley is making it more affordable to do just that.
They'll waive adoption fees starting Monday through the end of the month as part of the "Betty White Challenge."
White would have turned 100 years old Monday.
The Hollywood icon loved animals - and the Humane Society is paying tribute to her devotion to pets by launching this campaign.
The society has even named some dogs and cats after some of Betty White's best known characters.
