Two injured after truck slams into Buddhist temple in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Two people are hurt after a truck slammed into a Buddhist temple in San Jose. It happened around 7:30 Saturday evening on Story Road near Watters Drive.

Witnesses say the truck took out a light pole and some power lines before crashing into the building.

A monk that was inside the temple and the driver of the truck both have minor injuries.

Police arrested the driver on suspicion of drunk driving.
